Branson is home to many of the best musical acts, Table Rock condos, and family entertainment in the world. But now it has another award to brag about–America’s Best Restroom! Thanks to the Shoji Tabuchi Theater.
The 8th annual “America’s Best Restroom” award was presented to Shoji Tabuchi Theater after the results from internet voting were tabulated. Runner-ups included big names such as the Radio City Music hall in New York City, the Drake Hotel in Chicago and hundreds of more. Why were Shoji’s chosen as best of the best? According to theater manager Michael Frederick, “We believe these restrooms are the most elaborate and ornate anywhere. Each restroom represents 1,800 square feet of deliberate, one-of-a-kind elegance.”
Some of that elegance includes a ladies powder room with live cut orchids at every granite & onyx sink, chandeliers, stained glass, and an ornate ceiling decorated in 1890’s Empire Period Style. The gentleman’s lounge is no less deserving featuring genuine Italian black lion head sinks, leather chairs and a marble fireplace–but the most noticable feature is just inside the door–a hand carved mahogany pool table prepped & ready for a game of Billiards.
Branson visitors have long been wowed by Shoji Tabuchi’s high energy show. Now the world can be wowed by
the 2009 America’s Best Restroom winner. Yet another “must-see” pitstop on a visit to Branson!
