Parakeet Pete’s Hot Air Balloon Ride:  For a fun and quirky Branson experience, sail up above the Branson Landing in Parakeet Pete’s Hot Air Balloon!  It’s the most unique way to see the Landing, Lake Taneycomo, and the surrounding area.  This hot air balloon, located at the north end of the Branson Landing, will send you soaring to the top of a 180-foot tall metal tower that keeps the balloon and its riders safe from weather and high winds.  The balloon is handicap accessible, can hold up to 15 passengers, and has no age restrictions, so the whole family can enjoy this quirky Branson experience!

College of the Ozarks Dairy Tour:  ‘Campus’ and ‘cows’ are not usually words you here together, unless it pertains to a student’s senior prank!  But at College of the Ozarks, just south of Branson, there are cows on campus and they are meant to be there.  If you want an outside of the box tour, come visit the campus at milking time for a tour of the dairy!  You’ll see the lush green fields where the college’s herd of Jerseys and Holsteins graze, and then get an up close view of the milking parlor, where the cows are milked.  The bottling room operates with precision, with machines filling jugs with the fresh milk that can then be purchased by the gallon to take home with you.  It doesn’t get any fresher – or more unique!

The Shoji Tabuchi Show:  If you like live entertainment, this quirky Branson show – The Shoji Tabuchi Show – features not only country music from the Japanese fiddle star, but gospel, Cajun, rock and even a little bit of rap!   After a successful musical career in Nashville and other places around the country, Shoji wound up in Branson, Missouri, and invested in one of the most elaborate theaters the town had ever seen.  The theater was completed in 1990, and he began performing his show.  It was an instant hit, and has been running for more than twenty-five years.  Shoji has about two hundred employees at his 2,000-seat theater.  His show schedule is twice daily throughout most of the year, and tickets tend to sell out.
