Shepherd of the Hills Fall festival is one of the important events happening in the month of October. This festival actually starts in the month of September and continues till the end of October. Fall is an Excellent time to visit Branson, and especially the Shepherd of the Hills area, as the visitors can see the tree leaves of different colors surrounding the lakes and hills of Branson Missouri.
The National Harvest Festival is another important Festival continuing through the month of October. Silver Dollar City is widely known as the host for this festival. Craftsmen from across the country assemble at Silver Dollar City to display their products. Visitors can get to see a number of craft shows through out this festival period and interact with the craftsmen and women. There is also the Silver Dollar City’s Culinary and craft school for the visitors to learn some tasty recipes and try it in their homes.
At the end of October there are even safe & festive entertainment for Halloween, such as the Trick-or-Treat off the street, that happens in the last week of October in Branson. This is usually a one day show and the kids will have a great day attending it.
