This $420 million extravagant project of Branson Landing is the newest and the largest shopping district in Missouri. In Branson Landing, you can find great shops such as Bass Pro Shops, Belk Department Store, Brookstone, and American Eagle. This shopping paradise also features an array of retail shops such as J. Jill, Cardinal’s Clubhouse, and White House/Black Market. Also offers in Branson Landing are unique shopping items such as Versona Accessories, Girlie Girl Originals, and Majestic Gems.
Aside from the huge shopping area of Branson Landing, historic downtown Branson is proud to be home of Branson Scenic Railway. This exciting train attraction takes passengers through the Ozark Mountains. This 40 mile round trip train excursion travel to locations that are not accessible to cars or other means of transportation. As the train travels through the mountains, passengers will learn the history of the Ozarks through the narration of the train conductor. This short train travel will let you experience first-class treatment as it takes you a round trip journey of one hour and 45 minutes.
Historic downtown Branson features annual events that include Plumb Nellie Days, Autumn Daze, Fiddle Festival, the Veteran’s Day Parade, the Piccadilly Women’s Event, and the Adoration Parade. During the celebration of the Annual Fiddle Festival on August 3 to 4, many talented fiddlers will parade in the historic downtown to converge and impress audiences their playing skills on the fiddle. On this festival, there will be fiddling championship contest and a free kick-off Jam Session. On Saturday evening, it will be full of fun with square dance from 6 pm to 10 pm inside the tent. There will be admission ticket charge of $3 per person for the square dance event.
The Autumn Daze Festival is also another upcoming event in the historic downtown Branson. There will be about 100 craftsmen and artisans that will converge in downtown Branson to show off their skills. The history of the place will play an important role through these unique performances and traditional crafts that will be performed by local talents. During the duration of the festival, there will be a sidewalk sale event which runs from September 19 to 21. On the night of Friday, it will be the crowning moment of the festival as it features street dances from 5:30 pm through 7:30 pm.
The biggest fundraising event in downtown Branson is the Piccadilly Women’s Event and Gala. This event is always held at the beautiful resort of Chateau on the Lake that begins at 5:30 pm with wine tasting and a cheese that will be followed by a delightful three-course dinner. The price of each ticket for this fundraising event is $50 per person. The proceeds from this event are given to the revitalization of Historic Downtown Branson.
