Silver Dollar City World-Fest kicks off with a bang during spring break in Branson. This World-Fest features over 400 performers from the world over. This 2014, Silver Dollar City World-Fest is celebrated from April 5 to May 4. The celebration displays the colorful cultures and global adventures from around the world. Witness renown performances from Argentina, Spain, Ukraine, Ireland, the Pacific Islands, Ecuador and more. At Silver Dollar City World-Fest, you can discover a world of multi cultures at America’s Biggest International Festival.
The World-Fest gives you a chance to enjoy live shows performed by entertainers from around the world. Watch the Chinese and Kenyan acrobats, the Irish and Canadian step-dancers, Italian flag-throwers, Trinidadian drummers, Russian circus performers, and many more. This biggest celebration of world cultures at the Silver Dollar City excites every flock of tourists where they can enjoy live performances and myriad shows that will surely impress them.
This America’s biggest international event presents new shows with aerialists and drummers from Argentina, Russian folk trio, and fire-knife dancers from Samoa, the Spettacolo Musicale from Italy, and the return of Viva Italia. Guests watching the festivities feel like they are travelling the world as they enjoy watching groups from Peru, Switzerland, Ireland, and many more throughout the festival at the Silver Dollar City theme park in Branson, Missouri.
The Amamos Argentina show features the Los Pampas Gauchos dancers and drummers. The show also features Andres Sosa, the Argentinian National Folk Dancing Champion. Also new in the festival is the Island Fire that presents the music, rhythms, and dances from Samoa, Fiji and other South Pacific Islands featuring the world-champion fire-knife dancers throwing flaming knives.
The showcase of Italian entertainment “Viva Italia” features Sicilian soprano Cristina Corollo and tenor Aaron Caruso accompanied by the 7-piece live band, The Gondoliers. This show comes alive with theatrical entertainment from Italy including stilt walkers, statues, interactive musical comedy, and colorful costumed characters. The headline performances at the Silver Dollar City World-Fest include Diego Martin’s Footprint Folk Performers using their inspiring steel drums, the “Rhythms of Rajasthan” from India, the Russian Academic Band, the Mayorov Russian State Circus, and so much more.
Aside from World-Fest entertainment shows, Silver Dollar City World-Fest offers exotic and tasty dishes from the world over. Visitors can enjoy chicken fajitas, Irish stew, Italian calzones, baklava, tiramisu torte, carnitas, and many more food that is regularly served at the theme park.
