This weekend would be the perfect weekend to rent one of our Branson Cabins and enjoy the last weekend of October. The Ozarks are in full Fall colors and the harvest is in.
If you haven’t celebrated the harvest already, Silver Dollar City is hosting the National Harvest Festival for one more day! Through Saturday, this festival “celebrates the beauty and bounty of the great outdoors.” Some of the attractions you’ll experience at the festival include a look at craftsmen and their work, artists, wildlife,Missouri’s largest barn dance, and of course all things related to nature’s bounty. Don’t miss your last chance this year!
Of course, if you’re in the Branson cabins then maybe getting out into nature is more to your liking. If so, the weather looks great this weekend to make the Branson outdoors shine. Hiking, camping or fishing in and around one of the areas many scenic lakes and streams is a visual treat at this time of year. Canoes, kayaks and boats can be rented if you want to enjoy the colors from off shore. For something a little different you may also enjoy experiencing the surroundings by horseback or touring one of several local caverns and caves.
This weekend also features some local, family-friendly Halloween celebrations. The whole family can have fun trick-or-treating in one of two safe and friendly events held at Branson’s Landing and Factory Merchant’s Branson. No matter what your age or interests, Branson has much to offer and there’s no better time to experience the Ozarks in their Autumn glory than the last weekend in October.
