Jim Stafford gives a wonderful show full of comedy and illusions that everyone will enjoy.
Jim Stafford was born into a musical family and played guitar on his front porch in Eloise Florida with his father during his youth. He was playing in his first band, The Legends, at the age of 14. Playing Elk clubs and weddings Jim Stafford made a living at the age of 16. Soon after high school graduation Jim moved to Nashville and became the backup singer for Jumpin’ Bill Carlisle. After recording a song he wrote named “Swamp Witch”, Jim Stafford signed on with MGM records. The single was released in 1973 and became a Top 40 hit. Shortly after, GM released another song, “Spiders & Snakes”. This song became a smash hit and went gold in 1974.
Jim Stafford has added new projectors with 20,000 lumens in his theater. This offers visitors a show that know other theater in Branson can offer. The new projectors will help bring his 3D show to life even more.
Jim Stafford is considered by many to be a one person band. To watch him play the guitar and drums at the same time is quite amazing. This year he has added another guitar making it three guitars that he will play at the same time. The Jim Stafford show begins in January and ends in December. The show is certainly a family experience and Jim’s children, Sheaffer and G.G. will surely light up the stage. If you like good old family fun and good 3D illusions, than this show is one that you definitely want to see.
