His journey to success was not a piece of cake because he wasn’t signed on with MGM records until he recorded a song he wrote named “Swamp Witch”. After it was released and became a top 40 hit in 1973, he released another song, “Spiders & Snakes”, a year after and went gold.

Being known as a one-man band, he can perform music and comedy at the same time, with more than one musical instruments under his control.
