The funds will be used for the training and competition of the children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Those who are willing to participate in the Polar Bear Plunge should at least be 10 years old and above. Each participant should also be willing to raise a minimum of $75 by the day of the event. The Polar Bear Plunge is hosted by the police departments, highway patrols, correctional centers and other law enforcement agencies in the state of Missouri. This event is also a project of the Law Enforcement Torch Ruin for Special Olympics Missouri.
