The Kanakuk Kamps objective to Christian youngsters is to develop dynamic Christian leaders through spiritual training and godly relationships to fellow camp members. The camp system shares the following three principles to youngsters: 1) The I’m Third doctrine, where God is first, others as the second, and yourself as the third; 2) The Four Square Life, based on the new testament bible of Luke 2:52 – “And Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature and in favor with God and man”; and 3) The principle “Let Your Light So Shine”, based on Matthew 5:16 – “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven”.
Kanakuk Kamps offer several different classifications of camps. K-1 camp (for ages seven to thirteen) features zip line ride, dribble in the K-dome, kayak in the lake, wrestle in the Mat Flat, and worship Godly principles. K-2 (ages 13-18) kampers play, train for favorite sports, laugh, learn and refreshed physically and spiritually. K-West (ages 12-14) offers junior high school kids play exciting sports and camping adventure, and share spiritual living. K-Kountry (ages 7-11) many of these kids first experience camping away from home, so staff attending them are assured to have Christ-like patience.
K-Seven (ages 7-18) offers non-stop action from morning to night. Kanakuk Golf Kamp (ages 13-18) kids play golf at Branson Creek. Kanakuk Golf Kamp is a perfect golf course for every Kanakuk Kamper who wants to become a professional golfer. Kanakuk Adventure Series (ages 15-18) offers 2-week survival camp, scuba diving, and aviation adventures. In this camp you will be taught how to thrive in the outdoors using your character and training. Scuba Kamp offers the assistance of accomplished advanced diver. Aviation Kamp participant must have attended FAA Ground School to get a chance to log up to 15 hours of flight.
